On Saturday, Ree Drummond’s daughter tied the knot on the family’s ranch in Pawhuska, Okla.”The Pioneer Woman” host was among the guests as her oldest child married her fiancee, Mauricio Scott. The father of the bride Ladd Drummond and their three children, Todd, Bryce, and Paige were also there to see her walk down the aisle.
Alex and Scott met during their freshman year of college at Texas A&M University. In August, the couple announced their engagement. In the months leading up to the couple’s nuptials, Ree shared all the details about the wedding, including a recent preview of the menu catered by the Food Network star’s restaurant, the Mercantile.
Although the catering was for her daughter, she approached the task seriously. In an Instagram Live Q&A, she revealed that the mouth-watering main course included beef-tenderloin filet, with charred vegetables, peppers, and asparagus, with mashed potatoes as one of the side dishes.

It doesn’t stop there: there was also macaroni and cheese with caramelized onions and seven kinds of cheese, including two different processed cheeses, Fontina, goat cheese, mozzarella, sharp cheddar, and Parmesan.
If that wasn’t enough, guests were also treated to two wedding cakes. The first was a traditional white cake, with multiple layers featuring half vanilla cake and half strawberry with white icing. The groom’s cake was chocolate and shaped to look like a football jersey. Half of the cake was dedicated to two of his favorite teams: Texas A&M and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Earlier this month, Ree hosted her daughter’s bridal shower at her Mercantile restaurant and bakery in Pawhuska, Okla. The event included stunning table settings, with each attendee receiving their own mini bottle of champagne. The Food Network host also baked custom cookies decorated in frosting that read “Alex & Mauricio.”
Ree also wrote in her blog that she had “narrowed my dress decision down to two choices.” She also wrote that she was “exercising like a woman with a mission, I decided to wear my hair half up, half down (but I will probably change my mind four times on that front), and maybe I’m in denial, but I can really only describe my current wedding state as…excited!”
She added, “I’m not really worried about anything, except my dress choices zipping. And, if they do zip, whether I’ll be able to breathe if they do. But even then, I ain’t that worried. That’s why they invented duct tape, right?”
