‘Tis the season for Hallmark Christmas movies—well, almost. Today, Reba McEntire dropped a teaser for Hallmark’s upcoming holiday lineup, and it looks like we get a movie starring her this year.

Hallmark’s countdown to Christmas kicks off in exactly 49 days (October 22nd). That’s right, we get to start binge-watching the feel-good yuletide movies before Halloween. And fans got a sneak peek of what’s to come when Reba McEntire shared a teaser for the upcoming flicks on Instagram. The teaser will “officially” air on Monday night during the debut of Harry & Megan: Escaping the Palace, but a Reba McEntire was kind enough to let us see the trailer a little early.

“Here’s an early Christmas present for you – a sneak peek at @lifetimetv’s newest holiday movies – including mine!” she captioned.

The Grammy-winning songstress will be starring in and producing Christmas in Tune. The movie follows Belle, a marketing executive who thinks she’s about to lose her job. While trying to get back into good graces with her company, she reunites a singing duo—and the singers happen to be her parents. The film also stars The Dukes of Hazzard’s John Schneider.

The over two-month-long holiday movie-fest will also include films starring AnnaLynne McCord, Jana Kramer, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and cast members from The Brady Bunch.

Reba McEntire Records Duet with Dolly Parton

It’s been a great year for Reba McEntire, with her return to the silver screen and the upcoming release of her new album Revived Remixed Revisited.

Her album, which hits shelves on October 8th, is a box set of re-recorded McEntire chart-toppers. And on August 13th, the You Lie singer announced that she recorded a duet with the legendary Dolly Parton. The two country mega-stars will be giving us a new rendition of Does He Love You. McEntire and Parton are two of the hardest working women in the industry, and they helped pave the way for female artists. We’re sure the collaboration is what country fans’ dreams are made of.

Parton mentioned the duet on a recent episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. “It turned out really good because I’ve always wanted to sing with her and don’t know why we never did it until now,” she said. “But we really sounded good together. I think the fans are going to like it.”

The two have a friendship that spans decades. In fact, Parton once stared in McEntire’s sitcom Reba where she played a highly successful real estate agent.

In any case, the duet makes it even harder to wait for the release. But, Revived Remixed Revisited is available for preorder now!
