Former “The View” co-host Rosie O’Donnell is celebrating a major milestone in her daughter’s life. The comedian is a mother of five children, and her second-youngest just graduated from high school. O’Donnell took to Instagram to recognize the achievement.
Vivienne “Vivi” O’Donnell is the last child Rosie O’Donnell had with her first wife, Kelli Carpenter. Vivi and her mom seem to share a close relationship. They frequently film TikTok videos together, and Rosie frequently posts her daughter on her social media.

Rosie O’Donnell’s Kids Are All Grown Up for the Most Part
Rosie O’Donnell’s children range in age from 25 to 8 years old. And while most of the kids are all adults now, three of them lived at home throughout the pandemic.
But besides her 8-year old daughter Dakota, Rosie’s kids are pretty proud of their independence. She talked about how that played out during lockdown.
“They’re really separate countries. Everyone’s in their own rooms and there’s not a lot of talk until, ‘What do you want to order for dinner?’ Then they all come down and we have a good 15 minutes. [Then] they take their food and go back to their hovels,” she told People in an April 2020 interview.
Her 25-Year Old Son is a Marine
Rosie O’Donnell’s oldest son, 25-year old Parker, is actually a United States Marine. And even though she didn’t love the direction her eldest chose at first, she came to accept his career choice.
“He chose on his own. He actually begged to go to a military academy. Truth is, since he was a little boy, that’s his area of interest. The same way I love Barbra Streisand and Bette Midler, and entertainment, he can tell you any general in any war, what kind of tanks they had, what the battles were like. So I finally gave in and truthfully, he’s excelling and he’s very happy,” O’Donnell told Access Hollywood.
Rosie O’Donnell’s Relationship with Her Eldest Daughter
Rosie and her oldest daughter Chelsea haven’t always been on the best of terms. But the pair have apparently gotten closer in recent years. And in 2019, Rosie’s first grandchild was born.
“It was something really beautiful. It’s very trite, but it’s what everyone says: when you’re a grandparent, it’s like [having] a baby times a million. And that’s what it felt like,” she told Seth Meyers on his show “Late Night.”
