‘School of Rock’ Star Kevin Clark, Drummer ‘Freddy’ Actor, Dead at 32

The film “School of Rock,” which starred Jack Black, made stars out of its youthful cast. Sadly, one of the young actors who appeared in the 2003 comedy has passed away in a tragic accident.

That young star is Kevin Clark. According to TMZ.com, Clark played the drummer in the band Jack Black built during the popular film. Clark was reportedly riding a bicycle in Chicago, Illinois, when he was hit by a vehicle.

The accident allegedly took place during the morning hours of Wednesday (May 26). Police have said that Kevin Clark was struck by an individual driving a Hyundai Sonata. Clark was only 32 years old at the time of his death.

Following the incident, the “School of Rock” actor was taken to a local hospital, TMZ.com reported. Unfortunately, his injuries led to his death. He was pronounced dead at 2:04 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26. It was the Cook County Medical Examiner that shared details of Clark’s passing.

Reports have also shared other details about the fatal accident. Apparently, a 20-year-old woman was the driver of the vehicle that hit Kevin Clark. The woman had not been arrested as of the afternoon of May 26. She has been given citations due to the incident.

‘School of Rock’ Actor Was Reportedly Riding a Bicycle When Fatal Accident Took Place

Apparently, Kevin Clark’s sister has said that he was riding his bicycle home during the very early morning hours of May 26 when the fatal accident took place.

Kevin’s sister says he was riding his bike home at the time of the accident. Police say a 20-year-old woman was driving the car that struck and killed Kevin. She was not arrested but has been issued citations.

“School of Rock” was the only movie Kevin Clark had appeared in before his untimely death. He reportedly landed the role because of his talent with the drums.
