Sharon Osbourne has been living it up since she made her departure from “The Talk” in March. And it seems that her family is at the top of her list of priorities. Recently, she has been sharing photos of her husband and grandchildren on social media. Today, she posted a heartwarming photo of her husband Ozzy and son Jack.
The Osbourne men are flanking Sharon in the photo, each of them planting a kiss on one of her cheeks. The former “The Talk” panelist looks to be delighted by the gesture.
The post comes at a time when Sharon Osbourne has no immediate responsibilities. At least none relating to any TV obligations. Fans may remember the events of a few months ago. Osbourne made her exit from “The Talk” following a controversy surrounding comments made by Piers Morgan. Osbourne and her co-host Sheryl Underwood had an explosive debate about race that led to the former’s departure.
In comments since the incident, Osbourne has made several apologies.
“I am not a racist and if you can’t have a go at your friend who happens to be Black, does that make me racist because I said certain things to my friend, but I said them on camera?” Osbourne told Entertainment Tonight. “I will keep on apologizing to Sheryl, even if I decide not to go back, I will still keep apologizing to Sheryl … have nothing but respect and so much affection for Sheryl … don’t want to hurt her.”
Her departure was made even more significant when fellow longtime “The Talk” co-host, Carrie Ann Inaba, took a leave of absence due to health reasons.
Talk show drama aside, Sharon Osbourne has been spending tons of quality time with her family. And she couldn’t look happier.
Despite Sharon Osbourne’s Absence, ‘The Talk’ Was Renewed for a 12th Season
After Sharon Osbourne’s exit and Carrie Ann Inaba’s leave of absence, “The Talk” is in need of replacement hosts. Despite the unanswered question of who will fill the roles, CBS recently announced that the show is being renewed for a 12th season.
Even though the show is getting renewed, Metro recently reported that the ratings have suffered since Osbourne and Inaba left. According to them, the CBS talk show ranks in the last place among other daytime offerings.
Now, the big question becomes who can the show find to replace Sharon Osbourne and potentially Carrie Ann Inaba. After all, Osbourne was the last remaining member of the show’s original lineup. At present, the co-hosts consist of Elaine Welteroth, Amanda Kloots, and Sheryl Underwood.
There have also been some rumors about Sharon Osbourne potentially bringing back her family’s hit reality show, “The Osbournes.”
