Sharon Osbourne fired back on Tuesday at “The Talk” co-host Sheryl Underwood, who said Osbourne never apologized for their on-air clash.

Osbourne, according to the Daily Mail, released a series of screenshot texts showing her willingness at patching things up with Underwood.

Their argument centered around Osbourne’s defense of British talk-show host Piers Morgan on March 10th’s episode of “The Talk.” Morgan, a close friend of Osbourne, was highly critical of Meghan Markle after her interview with Oprah Winfrey. Markle talked about racism within the Royal Family.

Ultimately, Morgan stormed off the set of “Good Morning Britain” during a live broadcast and quit. An African-American cohost of that show was questioning Morgan’s criticism, which led Morgan to walk off in a huff.

Underwood Claims Sharon Osbourne Didn’t Apologize On Podcast

Sheryl Underwood made her claims about no apology from Osborne during her podcast, “Sharon Strikes Back.”

“I not only sent these messages to Sheryl but I apologized to her in person in her dressing room,” Osbourne told “Why are you saying I never apologized Sheryl? What are you trying to do to me? Why are you trying to destroy my reputation? Just be honest. Tell me.”

On her podcast, Underwood claimed that she and Osbourne had not spoken since they faced off on set on March 10.

Asked if Osbourne had reached out to apologize, Underwood said, “No,” and shared her phone history to corroborate that claim.

Underwood Wasn’t Putting Up With Osbourne Defending Morgan

As for “The Talk” episode, Underwood wasn’t having it when Sharon Osbourne started defending Morgan. She even accused Osbourne of not making too much of his comments.

“Educate me, tell me when you have heard him say racist things,” Osbourne said. “I very much feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist?”

The show has been on hiatus since this on-air dust-up occurred. Reruns were taking up space on CBS. Live shows will return to the network on April 12.

CBS made it clear that Osbourne was not fired from the show. Finally, yes, Sharon Osbourne is married to rock music legend Ozzy Osbourne.
