Sharon Stone gave her strong opinion on non-mask wearers in a post on Sunday, after her immunocompromised sister, Kelly Stone Singer, contracted Covid-19. This comes after Stone’s grandmother and godmother died of Covid-19 earlier this year.
Stone shared images of her sister in the hospital to Instagram. In the caption, she explained the difficulty in obtaining tests and the importance of wearing a mask.
The same day, she took to Instagram again, with a strongly worded InstagramTV video, captioned “VOTE TO LIVE 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 ”. The post has already garnered 1.8 million views.
In the video, an exasperated Stone speaks of her anger towards the lack of tests. She also speaks out on the slow result turnaround time in Montana, where her sister resides. She urged 2.2 million followers to vote for change.
“The only thing that is going to change this is if you vote and if you vote for Biden and if you vote for Kamala Harris,” Stone urged. She went on to claim, “And the reason that’s going to happen is because with women in power, we will fight for our families, we will fight for people to live.”
To close the video, Sharon Stone left viewers with a grave and politically-charged warning: “Don’t vote for a killer.”
