Stevie Lee, ‘Jackass’ Star and Wrestler, Dead at 54

Jackass star and professional wrestler Stevie Lee has died at the age of 54. He died on the morning of September 9 at his home.

The Death of Stevie Lee

His family confirmed the news on Thursday (September 10) via his GoFundMe page. Donations will used for funeral arrangement and will be sent to his brother Jim.

In the wrestling ring, Lee was known as the “Puppet The Psycho Dwarf.” Jackass and wrestling fans were shocked to learn of his passing. “He was beloved by many and has many friends that we’re family, fans that adored him, but only his brother Jim and wife Steph left to take care of final arrangements,” the statement on his page read.

“Puppet has put smiles across the world with his hardcore attitude and lifestyle,” they continued. “He is a legend in the art of Midget Wrestling. He needs our help to give him one last curtain call. Please donate what you can, share his memories with everyone, and share this fundraiser to give the Psycho Dwarf the best resting place possible.”

Wrestling Honors His Passing

Impact Wrestling shared their sympathies via Twitter. “It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Stevie Lee, better known as “Puppet The Psycho Dwarf” in the early days of TNA,” the tweet read. “We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family.”

Professional wrestler Frankie Kazarian shared his reaction to his friend’s passing. “RIP Stevie Lee aka Puppet the Psycho Dwarf,” he tweeted. “I’ll never forget the crazy tour of the UK we shared and the fun we all had. Godspeed my friend.”

All About Stevie

Lee first began his career in entertainment as a wrestler. Lee joined the NWA: Total Nonstop Action in 2002. Soon after, he helped create the Spike television show, Half-Pint Brawlers.

He later went on to star in the Jackass television and film franchise alongside Johnny Knoxville.

After his Jackass days, he focused on acting. Lee acted in the film, Oz the Great and Powerful. He was also in the American Horror Story 1984 and Freak Show seasons.
