Sylvester Stallone paid tribute to his wife on their 24th wedding anniversary. On Tuesday, the 74-year-old veteran actor celebrated 24 years of marriage with Jennifer Flavin by sharing a snap of the couple alongside a sweet caption via Instagram.

“It’s happy 24th Wedding Anniversary Time!!! Time is flying but I have a blessed life. Thanks to my wife and family.”

The 52-year-old model responded to the heartwarming post, writing, “The best 24 years! I love you and our beautiful family so so much!” The two tied the knot in 1997 and soon welcomed three daughters: Sophia, 24, Sistine, 22, and Scarlet, 18.

The marriage marked Stallone’s third marriage after he wed Sacha Czack. He shares two sons with Czack named Sage and Seargeoh. Sage starred alongside his father in several films but passed away in 2012. After Stallone divorced Czack in 1985, he later married Danish model Brigitte Nielsen, but that relationship ended in 1987 after just 19 months.

The third time seemed to be the charm for Stallone when he finally found true love with his current wife.

Sylvester Stallone Finds Love After Several Rocky Relationships

Per People magazine, Stallone and Flavin first met during a random meeting at a West Hollywood restaurant back in 1988. At the time, Flavin was a 19-year-old model, and Stallone was an established actor in the industry.

After a rocky start and several breakups, the Rambo actor and Flavin reunited in 1995 and got married in 1997. Years later in 2019, he gushed over his wife during an interview: “I’ve never had more fun. It took me 19 years to realize she’s always right.”

He continued: “I realized that women have a knack, at least Jennifer, for making incredibly erudite, wise, smart decisions. I always leap without looking.”

On Tuesday, Jennifer also shared a series of snaps of the couple to celebrate the occasion. She captioned her post: “Happy 24 year wedding anniversary to the love of my life!”

Sylvester Stallone previously revealed that he uses his macho man character when meeting his daughter’s boyfriends for the first time.

“I do a thing called the crushing the hand test,” the Rocky actor began. “I work my hands very much, and they’re very strong, so when I meet her date, I really clamp down.”

He added, “I see their faces changing color, because they wanna be Alpha dog, and I know they’ll never forget it. It’s not intentional, but when you have a daughter, it’s a form of temporary insanity. When some guy walks in the house, you’re not yourself anymore. My daughters are like, ‘What are you doing?’ But I just can’t help it.'”
