On Tuesday afternoon, actor Sylvester Stallone gave his fans a preview of the memorabilia that will be up for auction from his legendary Hollywood career.

Earlier today, Stallone unpackaged an intricate box sent to him from Julien’s Auctions on his Instagram account. The red leather box is embossed with the words “Property From The Life And Career Of SYLVESTER STALLONE,” and contains a book showcasing each item from his career that’s up for auction.

Julien’s is holding the auction this weekend on Dec. 5, 2021 in Beverly Hills, California. The event is sure to bring in some huge bids considering some of the Sylvester Stallone movie memorabilia that will be up for sale.

“Oh, what have we here? This just came in the mail from Julien’s where I’m having an auction. Let’s check it out. We love surprises. Ah, this man looks familiar,” Stallone says as he opens the specially-packaged Julien’s auction box.

The iconic action star then removes the hardback auction book from its container. On cue the Rocky theme song automatically begins to play from within the box.

“Well I guess they spare no expense. And I recognize that little tune… from somewhere,” he says sarcastically. “Anyways, thank you, guys. Check it out, it’s going to be a great auction. Keep punching.”

“This is going to be wonderful. December 5 in Los Angeles! @juliens_auctions #slystalloneshop,” Sylvester Stallone wrote on Instagram.

Sylvester Stallone Previews Some of the Memorabilia up for Auction

Sylvester Stallone gave an inside look into the special box and book Julien’s created for his upcoming auction. He also showed off some of the pages of the book that highlighted some the auction’s items. Any Stallone fans would be in heaven if they could afford some of the memorabilia related to Stallone’s iconic roles.

The first item Stallone reveals is one of 13 “Rambo knives” used in 1982’s Rambo: First Blood. Bidders can expect to pay between $10,000-20,000 for the famous weapon. Next up, we’ve got a collection of Sylvester Stallone’s original handwritten script for the 2015 film Creed. Unfortunately, the photo cuts off the price, but it’s safe to assume the handwritten script won’t come cheap. He’s also auctioning a pair of signed boxing gloves used on the set of 2006’s Rocky Balboa.

Additionally, there’s some other items up for auction from the Rambo series. A screen-matched canvas poncho used in First Blood is up for sale, and so is the famous archery bow his character uses in the film. Of course, there’s Rambo’s iconic red headband from Rambo: First Blood Part II, which is selling for $8,000-10,000.

There’s a few other items, but the last picture is one many Rocky fans will want to see. Stallone’s American flag boxing trunks from Rocky III when he fights Clubber Lang (Mr. T) will also be available to the highest bidder. You can get further details about the rest of the auction collection here at Julien’s Auctions website.
