Never missing a beat when it comes to making a sweet social media post about his family, action film icon Sylvester Stallone took to his Instagram account to wish his beautiful wife, Jennifer Stallone, a special happy birthday.

“Happy birthday to Jennifer! A fantastic wife and mother! We love you,” Sylvester Stallone announces in the sweet post.

Sylvester Stallone’s special birthday wishes for Jennifer come just a couple of months after the couple celebrated their 24th anniversary. At the time, the Rocky star shared on his Instagram page, “It’s happy 24th Wedding Anniversary Time!!! Time is flying, but I have a blessed life. Thanks to my wife and family.”

Jennifer responded to Sylvester Stallone’s post by commenting, “The best 24 years! I love you and our beautiful family so so much.” She also posted a gorgeous throwback of the couple’s wedding.

Sylvester Stallone married Jennifer on May 17, 1997, in a civil ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London. They then had a chapel ceremony at the Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. The couple has three daughters, Sophia Rose (born 1996), Sistine Rose (born 1998), and Scarlet Rose (born 2002).

Sylvester Stallone Says He Has No Ownership Stake in ‘Rocky’

During a July 2019 interview with Variety, Sylvester Stallone revealed how he has no say with the Rocky films. “I have zero ownership of Rocky. Every word, every syllable, every grammatical error was all my fault. It was shocking that it never came to be but I was told, ‘Hey you got paid. So what are you complaining about?’”

Sylvester Stallone also admitted that he was furious about the explanation and he blamed his own naïveté and lack of business savviness for not pushing the issue. You don’t want to ruffle the features of the golden goose,” he declared.

“I mentioned [the ownership] a few times because after Rocky II came out and made a ton of money. And then Rocky III hit and made more than all of them. I said I’d like to have some ownership since I invented it. And that never happened.”

Sylvester Stallone also revealed that he doesn’t believe that Rocky VI would work. “The core audience had grown up and was gone. I said it’s not about boxing, it’s about grief and loss. He finally lost his love, which is the end of the equation for him.”

In regards if he believes that Rocky is his career’s legacy, Sylvester Stallone goes on to add, “It’s like my brother. It’s the only voice that I can say what I want without being ridiculed. Because he is that way. Rocky can’t keep quiet. Rocky can say things that my other characters can never say.”
