Maureen McCormick of “The Brady Bunch” decided to share a sweet, touching photo with her brother while celebrating Halloween.

McCormick, who played Marcia Brady in the ABC family sitcom, went to Instagram and posted this on Sunday.

She has been a part of the Special Olympics as a Global Ambassador. Her involvement revolves around Denny, who has intellectual disabilities or ID.

According to her biography on the Special Olympics website, “She credits her parents as her role models as they lovingly mainstreamed Denny through his high school years and throughout his life. They were lifelong champions for people with ID and her father even became a certified teacher for children with ID.”

‘The Brady Bunch’ Star Recalled A ‘Genuine Love’ For All On TV Sitcom

People remember Maureen McCormick from playing the eldest sister on the sitcom.

Still, “The Brady Bunch” became a popular show in reruns, more so than when it originally ran on ABC.

McCormick and other surviving cast members talked about the show with the New York Post in 2019.

During the interview, she talked about why she believes the show remains relevant with fans around the world.

McCormick said that the bottom line is that “it was about love, coming together, working out innocent problems people had. And a lot of them were basic problems that still exist.

“We all kind of celebrated working it out together,” she said. “And I think we all really loved each other — there was a genuine love for all people on the show. I think that resonates.”

McCormick Talked About How Her Role Is Both Blessing, Curse In Her Life

McCormick has been through plenty of peaks and valleys throughout her career.

She dealt with serious drug addiction, yet has stayed sober for a long time.

Now being a part of TV classics like her show can put actors in a typecast position.

McCormick definitely found herself in that situation. It’s also why she has such contrasting feelings about her time on the show.

She talked about playing her famed character with the WGN Morning News in 2006.

“Well, it’s a blessing because, you know, I was on a show that is loved by America and it’s just- you know, that’s a great thing,” she said. “It’s a curse when you’re an actress and you get so well known for one role and you want to move on and do other things.

“But the blessings definitely outweigh the curse and it was just a great, great show to be a part of,” McCormick said.

Her role in the TV show brings McCormick a lot of attention but she’s used to it after all these years.
