We all saw the crazy allegations and drama from the Oprah interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last week. Out of all that, however, the patio furniture came out on top of everyone else. As it turns out, the former The Brady Bunch actor Christopher Knight owns the company that those patio chairs came from.

Apparently, the 17 million-plus viewers liked what they saw the stars sitting in as the company sold out of the chairs within hours of the interview airing.

Since he appeared on The Brady Bunch, Knight started the company Christopher Knight Home back in 2012. The chairs in the interview sold at $554 for a pair until they sold out on every third-party site, including Overstock, Amazon, and Target.

From The Brady Bunch to Patio Business

After seeing his entire furniture line sell out, Christopher Knight had only one thing left to do. He thanked the famous talk show host and all involved with the interview for providing (mostly) free advertising. After all, getting 17 million people excited about patio furniture is not an easy task.

The former The Brady Bunch actor also posted about the interview in a recent Instagram post.

“In Oprah’s sensational interview with Prince Harry & Meghan this week, who would have thought the furniture would have been noticed at all,” Christopher Knight said on Instagram. “It was…and not even by me!

“I am honored to have the patio chairs from my collection become the seat of the most fascinating famous sit-down in recent history,” The Brady Bunch star continued. “It would appear Meghan and Prince Harry got “Knighted” in a way never anticipated. Although it was stated that I was the designer of the furniture, I was not.”

Christopher Knight made sure to give credit where credit was due. He also shouted out to the interviewer, interviewees, and his business partners for their help in the venture.

“I am grateful to my talented business partners who have excellent taste, and skills in delivering a line of furniture that is both affordable and fit for royalty–both foreign and domestic.”
