‘The Talk’: Carrie Ann Inaba Hints at Return While Speaking Out About Health

Carrie Ann Inaba has dropped hints of returning to co-host The Talk while also speaking out about her health.

Carrie Ann Inaba has been very candid with her fans about her ongoing issues concerning her fight with a variety of autoimmune conditions. Some of these include fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and vasculitis.

According to US Magazine., the 53-year-old former Dancing With the Stars judge went on a health hiatus in late April, announcing her pause from The Talk. On Wednesday, Carrie Ann Inaba entered the hyperbaric oxygen chamber to undergo treatment and update worried and curious fans.

Inaba reveals that she was in a dark place during the pandemic, and she is slowly regaining her health. The TV personality also notes that she has been doing energy work and meeting with healers during her time off.

“I’m feeling so good, feeling better by the day,” she shared on her Instagram story. “[I was] in chronic pain all the time. Basically, since the pandemic hit, I have been in extreme pain. I’m on the road to recovery, and I’m extremely grateful.”

Is Carrie Ann Inaba Returning to The Talk?

In addition, she also touched on the topic in the back of everyone’s mind. Will Carrie Ann Inaba return to The Talk?

“I don’t know the answer to that yet. I’m so grateful The Talk has given me this time to take care of myself and be on this incredible healing journey,” Inaba added. “We are probably going to sit down and have some discussions about what the future is and when I go back, maybe the end of this month. … I do miss everybody at The Talk, and I look forward to be able to do what I love to do when the time is right.”

Does that mean Carrie is back? She originally joined the show as longtime host Julie Chen’s replacement in 2019 for the talk show’s ninth season.

On April 26, Carrie Ann Inaba made the decision to take a break from the show, prioritizing her declining health.

“I have decided to take a leave of absence from The Talk to focus on my wellbeing,” she said at the time, tagging “#AutoimmuneWarrior in her post. “I know you guys understand health is the most important thing.”

Furthermore, Carrie Ann Inaba also confirmed on Wednesday that she would be returning to the hit competition, Dancing With the Stars, for their 30th season. The show will begin in the fall and will return to ABC.
