‘The Voice’ Star Kelly Clarkson Detailed Unfortunate Backstage Bathroom Incident Involving Trash Can

During a recent taping of her talk show, Kelly Clarkson was unashamed as she hilariously shared a story that would embarrass most.

The host of The Kelly Clarkson Show welcomed country icon Clint Black to the show for a virtual interview. The musician joined Clarkson to open up about his newest album Out of Sane and his own upcoming talk show. However, the conversation veered off into tales of bathroom mishaps as they spoke.

“I have no filter in the best of ways. I’m open to talk about everything. I don’t think anything is truly inappropriate — obviously some things,” Clarkson said in a clip of her show. “Most things I’m willing to talk about, which some people are not ready for when they talk to me. Like, ‘um, [too much information]!'”

Black responded with a recent conversation he had with fellow country singer Sara Evans on his show. Evans recalled that she accidentally wet herself on stage one time in the middle of a concert. That’s when Clarkson proved her “no filter” comments were no joke. She immediately one-upped Evans’ story with one of her own.

“I’ll tell you right now, there was one time … it wasn’t pee, my friend,” Kelly Clarkson amusingly explained. “I got some kind of wrecked up from some kind of food. We were in an arena — I shouldn’t tell this story but like I said, I don’t have a filter.”

“I had to run backstage to my quick change,” she continued. “I grabbed this poor trash can and boy I destroyed it. It was bad. It was bad, Clint. And we might have to edit this out but I’m just saying. It happens! What are you supposed to do?”

Kelly Clarkson Reveals the One Song She’s ‘Afraid’ to Sing

Just a few days ago during an episode of The Voice, judge Kelly Clarkson admitted there’s one song she doesn’t ever think she’ll cover. As a former American Idol winner with numerous hit songs under her belt, the singer obviously has the chops to cover most songs.

Yet when presented with the idea of covering Puerto Rican star Luis Fonsi’s 2019 mega-hit “Despacito,” Clarkson pumped the brakes. Fonsi joined The Voice recently as a team advisor. During a chat with Fonsi, Clarkson fully admitted she’s “afraid” to cover “Despacito.”

“I just realized something. You have the one song in history I’m afraid to cover,” Kelly Clarkson shared with Fonsi.

“Oh, come on, you have to cover it now,” Fonsi responded.

“I have practiced so hard, because I love singing in Spanish and different languages. And it is like the biggest song of all time. But you’re like, ‘You know what? I’m gonna leave that alone!'” she explained as the two shared a laugh.
