Tim Allen Shares Adorable Story of How His ‘Little One’ Feels About Virtual School

Like many parents, Tim Allen has adjusted to having the kids at home during the coronavirus pandemic. In a tweet, Allen shared his daughter Elizabeth’s thoughts on going to virtual school.

He wrote, “Teaching my little one the importance of #Optimism. I asked her ‘what’s the best thing about virtual school?’ and she replied, ‘It won’t last forever.’”

Tim Allen has two daughters from two marriages.

Allen, 67, has two daughters between two marriages. Elizabeth, 11, was born in March 2009 to Allen, 55-years-old at the time, and his wife Jane Hajduk. Hajduk, who has appeared in several of Allen’s films, married the actor in 2006. When Elizabeth was born, Allen told People that he enjoyed being a father even more the second time around.

“I like it. I like it even better the second time. I’m not so worried as I was the first time,” Allen said. “It was a marvelous experience and I was the first one that got to look at [the baby] and poke her with a stick.”

Allen also has a 30-year-old daughter from his first marriage. Katherine was born in 1989. She has appeared publicly with Allen through the years, such as his red carpet appearances. Allen admits he wasn’t the best father to Katherine, spending too much time away from home. He’s tried to atone for his past mistakes.

“I’m not the same guy I was the first time [I was married], when I was hiding and doing what people who drink too much do. I was not connecting,” Allen told Closer in 2017. “But I’ve been sober for almost 20 years. I’m much more present.”

In comparison, Elizabeth rarely makes public opinions and avoids the spotlight of her celebrity parents. Still, Allen appeared with both of his daughters and Hajduk at the Toy Story 4 premiere last year, according to Yahoo News. Recently, Allen has been busy filming the newest season of Last Man Standing and working on his competition show Assembly Required.
