Legendary actor and all-around funny guy Tim Allen is showing off a sweet new ride in his most recent social media post.

Tim Allen is a big-time lover of classic cars and has several successful rebuilds under his belt. The same can be said for former Late Night host Jay Leno, who also enjoys restoring older model cars. The comedic legends have built a lasting friendship based on their shared occupation and love for classic cars. They often appear together and typically have a classic car in the vicinity when they get together. Leno even played a character in “Last Man Standing,” Tim Allen’s most recent hit sitcom. Leno currently has a web series called “Jay Leno’s Garage,” where he and guests talk shop. As you might expect, Allen is a fan of the show and will make his latest appearance in the near future.

Tim Allen took to social media on Monday to tease his upcoming appearance on Leno’s show. He also shares a photo of himself and Leno with, you guessed it, a beautiful classic car sandwiched between them.

“Always so fun hanging out with Jay,” Tim Allen says in his Twitter post. “Watch me on this season of ‘Jay Leno’s Garage’ this Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on CNBC.”

Even if you’re not a big car person you have to admit that is a pretty sweet Corvette that the two men are standing next to. The car has a beautiful blue coating and the white and orange stripes add a little sizzle to the wonderful creation. You would have a hard time finding anyone who would pass a ride in that beauty.

Tim Allen is Currently Without a Show

The comedy star finds himself with an abundance of free time as he isn’t in the process of filming — which usually takes up most of his time. That’s just fine with Tim Allen as it gives him time to pursue his passion. His current project “The Vik” has he and his team working to restore an older Crown Victoria. Allen has also gotten back up on the lighted stage with his standup comedy tour.

Tim Allen’s latest hit sitcom “Last Man Standing” came to an end earlier this year after nine seasons on two different networks. His latest television project “Assembly Required” has yet to be canceled or renewed by the History Channel. Tim Allen fans certainly hope the History Channel will renew the highly entertaining show in the future.

“Assembly Required” reunites Tim Allen with his former “Home Improvement” co-star Richard Karn. The two men still have a great deal of comedic chemistry despite not having worked together in some time.

Until his next project comes around, Tim Allen appears content to dedicate his time to his passion of restoring classic cars.
