Santa Claus himself, Tim Allen, took to Twitter to remind his followers to be on their best behavior this Christmas season.

Allen famously starred in the 1994 classic, The Santa Clause, in which he plays the role of a father who accidentally becomes the next Santa Claus. The film was a success, spawning two sequels: The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. The first two films are widely considered holiday staples. As a result, his role of Scott Calvin, alias Santa Claus, is one of his most recognizable.

As a result, Allen’s reminder to “be good for goodness sake” takes on a nostalgic meaning. In addition to his warning, the actor included a photo of himself as the antagonist in The Santa Clause 2. He adds that “lots of low sulfur coal is just waiting” for those on the naughty list, a playful nod to a line spoken by his character in the film.

“Lots of low sulfur coal is just waiting…”

In The Santa Clause 2, this quote comes not from Santa but from Toy Santa. Also played by Allen, the Toy Santa was created to fill in during Scott’s absence, but he took his job too seriously. As a result, Toy Santa becomes dictator-like, deciding that everyone will receive coal for Christmas.

Being a comedian, Allen is no stranger to teasing his fans over his role as Santa. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, he joked that he was the last guy who should have been cast as Santa. For example, when a fan asked him why Santa likes milk and cookies, Allen sarcastically responded “’cause it takes the edge off the jack and coke.”

It should come as no surprise that Allen’s sense of humor carries over to his social media. His tweet pokes fun at his followers with a nostalgic callback to one of his most iconic roles. You know what they say. You better watch out, you better not cry and you better not pout—Tim Allen is coming to town.

All three Santa Clause films are available to stream on Disney+.
