It’s an understatement to say that Tim Allen is known as a funny person. Without a doubt, the actor has been making fans laugh for decades now. But, even comedians can feel sad.

With some of his latest tweets, Allen has shown his sensitive and serious side. On Wednesday (Feb. 10), the famous actor shared the following emotional message. “I miss the men and women who have passed on in my life that were mentors of a thing called serenity for me,” he wrote.

Fans were quick to respond to this tweet by Tim Allen. As of 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, it had received more than 1,000 likes and dozens of comments. Many of the individuals who commented on this tweet appeared to understand Allen’s feelings of loss. They even shared thoughts about their own grief.

“Yes I miss my parents and grandparents and even my best friend. Who have left me with my memories to remind me of what my life was like in simpler times,” one user posted in response to Tim Allen.

“As I prepare to attend a Celebration of Life for one of mine…I share your sentiment….,” another posted.

“I miss a lot of my friends and those who made an impact on Tim. All of us made some kind of impact. If it is small or large,” still another said.

There was also this response: “I miss my mother & mom! I lost mother at age 5 from her getting killed in a car accident. Then lost my stepmother (mom) to cancer about 28 years ago. I hope people appreciate their mother/mom like I did.”

Tim Allen Shares Another Moving Tweet

A few minutes after he shared that tweet, Tim Allen shared another moving comment. This one was a quote by famous author C.S. Lewis. “The next best thing to being wise oneself is to live in a circle of those who are.”

Now, that’s some good advice. And, the actor’s fans agreed.

“Mr. Allen – Not only are you wise; but you usually live in circle of other wise persons! Thank you for all the wit, wisdom, & joy you’ve always brought to all of us. God Bless You and Your Loved Ones,” one fan posted in response to that tweet.

“Agreed. Wisdom, in part, is the ability to identify bulls*** when it’s spoke and surrounding yourself with people who are beyond apt in such observations can only better you in the end,” another said.

“The trick is knowing how to measure the wise people you are surrounded by. I can be a fool and surround with fools that seem wise,” one fan said in response.
