The debut of the 12th season of “Blue Bloods” is just over a week away. Needless to say, fans of the popular CBS family cop drama are excited. But, so are members of the cast.
Cast member Bridget Moynahan shared her excitement about the show – and encouraged viewers to prepare themselves for the drama ahead – in a social media post on Thursday, Sept. 23. The 50-year-old actress plays Erin Reagan in “Blue Bloods.” Erin is the daughter of New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan, who is played by Tom Selleck. Erin works as an assistant district attorney for the city.
Bridget Moynahan shared a selfie photo of her in what appears to be an Erin Reagan costume on Instagram. She’s looking very serious – and lawyer-like – in the image. “Getting ready, your Honor. #BBBeautytime @bluebloods_cbs @cbstv #season12 #areyouready?” Moynahan captioned the photo. Well, are you ready for the 12th season of “Blue Bloods”? That answer is most likely a “yes.” Also, if you’re not caught up on all the drama of the popular series, you have time to do so. The 12th season of “Blue Bloods” will debut on Friday, Oct. 1, at 10 p.m. (ET) on CBS.
What Drama Could the Members of the Reagan Family Face During the 12th Season of ‘Blue Bloods’?
What fans should expect from the upcoming season remains to be seen. And, there are many questions fans have about “Blue Bloods.” For example, fans want to know if Frank Reagan’s tenure as New York City police commissioner will come to an end this season.
Another question is, “What the future holds for Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez)?” Could they become romantically involved in the future?
There is also speculation that a new baby could be joining the Reagan family in the future. Could officer Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and his wife, officer Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray), decide that becoming parents is right for them?
Also, will Joe Hill (Will Hochman) spend more time with his Reagan family relatives than ever before? Could Erin Reagan and her ex-husband, Jack Boyle (Peter Hermann), reunite?
Just what cases and conflicts will arise in the lives of all the members of the Reagan family is always a question that surrounds “Blue Bloods.” What battles will Frank have to fight as the commissioner? How will Danny have to fight to solve cases that he feels passionately about? What conflicts could arise between Erin and the law enforcement members of her family about their interpretations of the law? Will these debates take place at the family dinner table?
There is so much for fans of the series to look forward to! “Blue Bloods” rarely disappoints its fans and its upcoming 12th season could bring more drama than ever before. We will just have to wait until the drama begins to unfold next week to see what is in store.
