Since the debut of Mariska Hargitay’s Law & Order: SVU character back in 1999, the Law & Order universe has maintained a dedication to showcasing strong female characters. The new generation of Law & Order stars came with even more female leads, including Danielle Mone Truitt and Ainsley Seiger. And in a recent crossover episode, the female leads of SVU and Organized Crime combined to create some serious girl power.

In a picture posted to her Instagram account, Danielle Mone Truitt posed with her Law & Order co-stars, Mariska Hargitay and Ainsley Seiger. In the caption, she shared her excitement for sharing the screen with such talented actresses. “It was Ladies Night with Mariska Hargitay and Ainsley Seiger on the set of SVU this Premiere Eve!” Truitt wrote. “We did some good acting and had some good girl talk! Saying that we are FIERCE is an understatement!”

In an interview with Today, Danielle Mone Truitt described the episode in further detail. “I think this episode is definitely, like, I feel like it’s a girl power episode,” Truitt said. “It’s me, Jet (Ainsley Seiger), Captain Benson (Mariska Hargitay), and Rollins (Kelli Giddish). And Captain Benson, of course, is pairing up with Stabler, or whatever, but I do love there’s so many women in this episode, like on the case, getting stuff done.”

Danielle Mone Truitt Describes Working With ‘Law & Order’ Icon Chris Meloni

Danielle Mone Truitt works with many talented actors and actresses on the set of Law & Order: Organized Crime. However, working with Law & Order legends like Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay is particularly exciting for the newcomer. According to Truitt, working with Meloni and Hargitay is great fun.

“Oh my god, yes, they are so funny,” Danielle Mone Truitt told Today. “All I do is laugh at them. Like, they are so funny.” Though filming a popular series like Law & Order is no doubt hard work, Truitt says that she and her co-stars also know “how to have a good time” and have “a lot of fun.”

On the 22nd anniversary of Law & Order: SVU, Danielle Mone Truitt posted a video of Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay having fun on set. In the caption, she wrote, “Mariska, you’re a warrior Queen. Congratulations to you and your cast and crew. Thanks for embracing us newbies. Chris, thanks for coming back! I wouldn’t have this job or opportunity if you would’ve said no!”

While she holds an immense amount of respect for both Law & Order icons, Danielle Mone Truitt calls Chris Meloni her favorite actor to work with. “I have fun shooting with Chris a lot,” Truitt said. “Because we just like push each other to do our best work.”
