“Law & Order: SVU” returns tonight with a special two-hour Season 23 premiere, followed by Season 2 of the spin-off series “Organized Crime.”

You can catch “SVU” on NBC at 8 p.m. EST, and “Organized Crime” at 10 p.m. EST (though in the future it’ll be on at 9 p.m.). According to TVLine, the Thursday night premiere of both shows will face some fierce competition from CBS’ special tribute to Kenny Rogers and Fox’s “The Masked Singer.”

Can’t watch “Law & Order” on cable tonight? No worries, Benson and Stabler fans. The NBC streaming service Peacock will provide the episode the next day, as long as you pay for the $4.99 Premium subscription. Currently, all former episodes of the two “Law & Order” shows are also available on Peacock. You can also watch the two shows the next day through NBC’s website if you have a TV provider.

For those who want to live stream the two premieres, check out streaming services like Hulu Live TV, fuboTV, YouTubeTV, and DirecTV Stream. All services cost about the same, at $65 a month, and allow you to watch most cable shows live as they air.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Stars Celebrate 22nd Anniversary of the Show

Twenty-two years ago, Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni appeared on our screens for “Law & Order: SVU” for the first time. It seems incredible that so much time has passed, yet it feels like it’s been no time at all.

That’s thanks in large part to Hargitay and Meloni, whose chemistry on and off-screen is as electric as ever. The two posted celebratory selfies to commemorate the special occasion on Instagram earlier this week.

“Well, this happened on the 22nd anniversary of us/svu,” Chris Meloni captioned his post. The pics feature an adorable snapshot of him and Hargitay on set for their crossover episodes.

Hargitay posted a fun photo of the two of them at the same time, captioning it, “22 years ago today #SVU premiered! 💥#Feeling22 #22 #We’reNotDunDunYet #22AndCounting #HappyAnniversary ❤️#OGs #Reunited 💥 #3DaysTillTheSVUPremiere so grateful and proud of the stories that we get to tell.”

Meloni and Hargitay truly are the OGs, working together on the show for 12 years until Meloni left due to contract issues. When he left, fans were devastated to see their favorite almost-couple separate for good. Fans lost all hope that they’d ever see Hargitay’s Olivia Benson and Meloni’s Elliot Stabler in a relationship on the show.

Little did they know that Meloni would soon return as Stabler in his own show, “Law & Order: Organized Crime.” The new spin-off allowed Hargitay to star in a few cross-over episodes, hinting at the possibility of the two working together quite a bit in the future. We can’t wait to see them on our screens tonight on NBC.
