Mick Jagger’s 4-Year-Old Son Looks Just Like the Rolling Stones Legend in Rare Photo

by Jonathan Howard

Although Mick Jagger is 78-years-old he has a toddler walking around that looks like a spitting image of the famous rocker. Jagger and girlfriend Melanie Hamrick are the parents of 4-year-old Deveraux. In a recent photo shared on Hamrick’s social media, the resemblance is uncanny.

The eighth of eight children, Deveraux is by far the youngest Jagger child. Before he was born, 23-year-old Gabriel Jagger was the youngest in the family. Jagger had become a great-grandfather in 2014 years before his son was born. The Jagger genes are strong, as the young child looks just like his father.

For Hamrick, parenting with Mick Jagger isn’t difficult. Despite the two parents living in different cities, they make it work. Back in 2018, she broke down their relationship and the way they co-parent.

“I never feel a lack of support, regardless of our not being in the same city,” Hamrick said. “I feel as though I have more support from him than some of my married friends get from their husbands. With WhatsApp, FaceTime, and social media, you can now have a close relationship even long distance. I think the norms of relationships have changed. Or maybe, I’m just really modern and independent.”

For Hamrick, the size of the Mick Jagger family is only a bonus. Despite being a blended family, the dancer says, “It’s nice to have a big family for Dev.”

As for having any more children, that isn’t likely to happen. Deveraux has lots of half-siblings as well as nieces and nephews of a variety of ages.

“He’s [Deveraux] perfect and beautiful, but I don’t think I’d do it again.”

Mick Jagger, Rolling Stones Play First Show without Charlie Watts

Recently, the Rolling Stones and Mick Jagger played the first show since the passing of Charlie Watts. In a warmup for their No Filter tour, they toasted their late friend with a drink prior to the start of the show. The crowd, of course, obliged.

It was a somber moment. However, it is nice to see the Stones out on the road together. Charlie Watts would have been on the tour as well and was before his health took a turn for the worst. The North American tour was postponed prior to Watts’ death.

It really is amazing how Mick Jagger and company keep going after all these years. The father of eight has been keeping himself young in any possible way he can. He doesn’t show signs of slowing down. The passing of Watts was hard for the band members. Each had their own special stories to share. Now, they keep moving on and hit the road to finish out their tour.
