The NCIS beauty shined in a gorgeous light blue short dress from Steven Khalil that featured a train while her husband wore a black suit with a matching black tie. Vanessa was notably styled by Sonja Christensen with her hair done by Ashlee Rose and makeup from Liz Castellanos.
Prior to her and Nick’s red carpet appearance, the NCIS: Hawai’i star wrote on Instagram, “I loved this dress because it reminds me of a Hawaiian wave. Then I sat with Nick and realized… it’s a Heat Wave! Haha! Mom & Dad are OUT!!!”
During the 2021 Emmy Awards, Vanessa Lachey took to the stage with fellow NCIS franchise star, Wilmer Valderrama to present the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. Evan Peters received the award for his role in Mare of Easttown.
‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Set to Premiere Tonight
Vanessa Lachey has a big week ahead of her. The series premiere for her highly anticipated series NCIS: Hawai’i will take place tonight at 10 p.m. ET on the TV network, CBS. NCIS: Hawai’i will follow a team of naval criminal investors who will be operating from the Pearl Habor Field Office. The team will be led by Lachey’s character, Special Agent Jane Tennant.
In a recent video on Instagram, Vanessa Lachey revealed that she sobbed the moment she found out she was going to star in the upcoming NCIS series. She also shared the video of her reaction. “I’m in the car and I just found out I got the job,” the now NCIS star recalled. “[I said] I couldn’t take a video because I was on my phone. I don’t know what to do.”
The NCIS beauty also stated that her 4-year-old son, Phoenix, was also in the car when she received the news. “[I turned around to see my son at that point, telling him], we’re happy, right? He doesn’t know what we’re happy about.”
Along with the video, Vanessa Lachey wrote that she will never forget the day she received the call about the NCIS role. “Dreams do come true. One week from today, our show premieres. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity. My life is changed forever.”
Along with fans praising her for the role, CBS Studios commented on the post, “Ok crying over here. We cannot wait for the world to meet your Jane.”
