As “NCIS: Los Angeles” fans, we know our core team is dedicated to helping any and all that are in trouble, marine or not. However, a new “NCIS: Los Angeles” trailer reveals the team isn’t setting out to rescue just any dog.
Throughout “NCIS” franchise history, we’ve seen a handful of episodes that have centered around animals, specifically dogs. But this time, the “NCIS: Los Angeles” trailer reveals the team is setting out to rescue one dedicated, four-legged marine, and it’s an endeavor they likely haven’t encountered before. Check out the trailer below.
As per CarterMatt, Sam, Callen, and the rest of the crew have taken on kidnappings before. But never has it involved a trained military canine.
The dog in the trailer is named Master Sergeant Boomer, and the upcoming episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” shows the investigative team as perplexed as we are in taking on this particular case.
Nevertheless, a marine is a marine, and the canine’s recovery is just as crucial as that of a human marine.
That said, take a look at the full episode synopsis below.
“NCIS investigates the kidnapping of Master Sergeant Boomer, a military working dog. Also, Sam looks to sell his boat so he can take care of his father, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s.”
Altogether, the “NCIS: Los Angeles” trailer and synopsis combined promise fans are in for a new plot they definitely haven’t seen before. Be sure to tune in to the new episode when it airs on Sunday, April 17th.
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Fans are Wondering: Where’s Hetty Lange?
Master Sergeant Boomer isn’t the only one missing in upcoming episodes of “NCIS: Los Angeles.” The investigative team’s Operations Manager for the Office of Special Projects has been absent throughout the majority of the current season. Now, as we head into the latter half of season 13, fans are still wondering, where’s Hetty Lange?
The “NCIS: Los Angeles” character, played by iconic actress Linda Hunt, celebrated her 77th birthday last week, and over on the series’ social media pages, fans shared their well-wishes for the Hetty actress.
However, in addition, many other fans begged for the beloved character’s return before the season’s end.
“We miss you Hetty!” wrote one fan. “Please come back from whatever mission you’re on, Hetty! We need your sharp wit & mysterious ways.”
As of now, the “NCIS: Los Angeles” team has no idea where Hetty is, or what condition she’s in. The last they knew, she was working to negotiate the release of multiple NCIS hostages when a drone strike hit her location. Now we’re left wondering: is Hetty still alive? So far, the series of events since the drone strike suggests the beloved character is still alive.
However, that begs another question: if she’s not in the rubble of the disaster, then where has she gone? Some fans believe she organized the strike herself to allow greater time to negotiate the hostage situation. Meanwhile, others believe Hetty has been taken hostage herself.
