Dr. Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) often has a lot of work on his hands when it comes to working with “NCIS.” However, the series’ star hinted to fans that he’ll have to go above and beyond in their next case as he and the rest of the team investigate several deaths in a city parking lot in the next episode. In looking at the “NCIS” photo, we’re wondering the same thing as Brian Dietzen: “What the hell caused all of this?”

After another temporary midseason hiatus, the Jimmy Palmer actor excitedly shared with fans, “We’re back baby,” hinting we’ll have to catch the latest episode when it airs on Monday to find out what the above street massacre is all about.

Entitled, “Last Dance,” the brand new episode of “NCIS” airs Monday, April 18th during its usual time slot at 9 p.m. However, in the comments following Deitzen’s post, fans shared their excitement and impatience alike.

“Can’t wait for Monday!” one “NCIS” fan commented.

Another joked, “Has to be Torres to blame,” while one “NCIS” fan suggested, “Going to need some help in autopsy.”

Altogether, the next all-new episode of “NCIS” promises to be an exciting one and we can’t wait to see how Brian Dietzen navigates the plot as the beloved Jimmy Palmer.

‘NCIS’ Alum Michael Weatherly Recalls ‘Great Day’ on Set

While dedicated “NCIS” fans anxiously look forward to the thrilling brand new episode airing Monday, series alum Michael Weatherly is looking back at his time on the show. Inhibiting the iconic “NCIS” character Anthony DiNozzo, the actor shares great love for his role, his costars, and the “NCIS” franchise overall.

And most recently, in his latest Tweet, DiNozzo’s dynamic actor is recalling a “great day” on the set of “NCIS.”

A season 12 episode saw the beloved team, then starring Michael Weatherly, Emily Wickersham (Eleanor Bishop), and Sean Murray (Timothy McGee) alongside series icon Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) as they took part in a sting operation.

Weatherly’s Tweet features his character as well as Wickersham’s taking part in a calming outdoor yoga session where Tony demonstrates his latest inner calm through various poses. As he and his costar Wickersham go through the movements on screen, Weatherly shared, “You have found a great day on the set from NCIS. I thank you.”

In the comments, “NCIS” fans reflected on the “good days” of the series when DiNozzo dominated the screen with the rest of the team.

“Oh, the good old days at NCIS!” reflected one fan. “I love to see the reruns…Thanks for the memories.”

As always, Michael Weatherly’s followers begged for his return to the series when “NCIS” returns for its milestone 20th season in the fall.
