‘NCIS’ Star Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco Welcomed Their Daughter in February 2021

According to PEOPLE, Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco welcomed Nakano Ocean into the world on Feb. 15, 2021. The “NCIS” star shared this very happy news on Instagram as well.

“Life is an ever evolving journey, and for all those times when our path needs a light.. often angels are sent to show us the way and that we can be more.. straight out of heaven we welcome our first daughter…#ItsJustUs3Now,” Valderrama posted.

Their baby girl’s name reportedly had its inspiration in a trip the couple took to Japan. It was on this trip that they said “I love you” to one another for the first time. So, unsurprisingly, it was a memorable vacation.

When the time came to choose a name for their daughter, the “NCIS” star and Pacheco began researching the history of Japan. It was during their research that they came across the story of a female samurai named Takeko Nakano. It is in that story that they found their daughter’s name.

“Nakano became something that felt strong, felt unique, felt different. … I thought, ‘What a cool, fun little conversation topic for our daughter to have as she grows older.’ But also, the respect and the heritage, and the tribute to one of those beautiful moments where my fiancée and I said ‘I love you’ for the first time. To commemorate that trip to Japan with our first labor of love,” Wilmer Valderrama also shared.
