“S.W.A.T.” actor Shemar Moore is at it again, teasing fans with a hot new show photo from among the cacti.
And Instagram fans responded in kind with all sorts of fire emojis. Over 100,000 “S.W.A.T.” fans took a gander at the sweaty, sexy photo.
Moore’s Instagram photo is tagged Tepoztlán. The city is in the central Mexican state of Morelos. It’s only a 34-hour drive from the City of Angeles or about 1,870 miles south on Interstate 10. Talk about an escape.
The 51-year-old Hondo actor also carries that trademark cowboy hat he’s posed with throughout the summer.
It’s just another fantastic Moore photo tease to get fans ready for the two-part “Vagabundo” season-premiering episode for Season 5. The Oct. 1 “S.W.A.T.” show airs on CBS.
Premiere Kicks Off In Mexico
Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson is in for an exciting time in Mexico.
“You don’t want to miss this EPIC and CRAZY story that H.O.N.D.O. gets involved within Mexico while he’s trying to mind his business and escape L.A.…… and just ride a Horse,” “S.W.A.T.” star/producer Moore also shared in an earlier Instagram post.
Season 5 picks up with Hondo as a wanderer, or vagabond if you will, without a purpose having left his “S.W.A.T.” job. Shoot, the English translation “Bum” may work best now.
Now, he’s in Mexico, trying to do some soul-searching while salvaging his professional future. But trouble finds him. He’s not able to stay out of a local family’s fight for justice.
Will Hondo get back into his bullet-proof “S.W.A.T.” vest? It is more than likely, but it will take a little time south of the border. But the cowboy always gets back on the saddle, right?
In addition to Moore, IMDB said Luke Cook (A.J. Novak), David DeSantos (Rodrigo Sanchez) and Vale Dorantes (Delfina Reyes) star in the “S.W.A.T.” episode.
‘S.W.A.T’ Trailer Dazzles
A few days ago, Moore dropped an awesome “S.W.A.T.” trailer about the upcoming season.
“Homies, Fans, n Baby Girls!!! @swatcbs is back FRIDAY OCT 1st on CBS. GET READY,” he wrote alongside an explosive video.
Explosions, check. S.W.A.T. truck, check. Cool-looking Hondo facial hair, check. S.W.A.T rules, check.
Getting the “S.W.A.T.” band back together. Officer Street asks, “Who missed us?” Well everyone.
What else can you ask for?
Role Physical For Moore
Coming from “Criminal Minds,” Moore knew running around the streets of Los Angeles would be a challenge.
Moore knew he had to build muscle, and doing that involves a lot more than pitching the old cornhole bag around the backyard of his mansion.
In a Stack article, Moore had to work on a look different than Derek Morgan. He wanted a complete “S.W.A.T.” transformation.
“Physically I gained 12-15 pounds to have the certain presence that I felt Hondo needed because I definitely wanted to have a different presence than I did on Criminal Minds, but also the mindset of “S.W.A.T.”
