Season 21 of “The Voice” features the return of veteran show judges Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and John Legend. However, this year, we look forward to the addition of pop sensation Ariana Grande.
NBC Talent Show Host Requirements
With Ariana Grande as the latest addition to the panel of judges on “The Voice,” many may wonder how these stars have gotten the job in the first place. Overall, this year’s panel is diverse, with country star Blake Shelton, country-pop singer Kelly Clarkson, pop icon Ariana Grande, and R&B artist John Legend. In its entirety then, “The Voice” promises a broad collection of talent amid season 21.
Regardless, host Carson Daly revealed it takes more than stardom to secure a spot in one of the iconic spinning red chairs. He summarized that, “What makes the show good is the ribbing.” He pointed out moments where Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande poke fun at each other with the latter calling Shelton her grandpa. “As soon as there’s a comfort factor…that’s when we know we’re onto a good panel.”
Overall then, alongside the musical talent and exposure potential judges have received, much of the decision is based on individual’s chemistry with each other.
Hence and therefore, unless you’ve encountered music stardom, we’re not sure we would make the greatest judges on “The Voice.”
