Joanna Gaines may have two cookbooks and is a billionaire, but her late-night meal is beyond relatable.

The “Fixer Upper” star fixed up a gourmet bowl of Maruchan Ramen Noodle Soup and posted the video on Instagram. It all starts with some boiling water and a masterful look at her gorgeous oven and sink. During the video, Gaines hilariously opens her cookbook to a picture of herself picking fresh vegetables. She awkwardly zooms in and then eventually sets the ramen down where her hands are in the picture.

Gaines ends up spicing up the recipe just a tad. She adds in some chopped jalapeno and puts it all into a gorgeous ramen bowl.

The video ends with Joanna Gaines strangely zooming into a plant on her countertop. She then slowly slides a ceramic grandma figure in front of it.

Fans of Gaines seemed to get a kick out of the somewhat strange video. One person wrote, “That was the weirdest Instagram post.” Meanwhile, some of her other fans are suggesting the odd video might be the result of something else. An Instagram user wrote, “I feel like Joanna has the munchies…”

It also just made people feel connected to Gaines in an all-new way. Late-night ramen noodles have a way of bringing people together.

New Projects for Chip and Joanna Gaines

Magnolia Network, the multi-platform project with Discovery, has been entertaining audiences for a few months now. However, there’s now going to be even more to enjoy.

“The Craftsman” and “The Art of Vintage” are two new shows that will join Magnolia Network next year. Also, “One Big Day with Bob Goff” and “From Grandma, With Love” are two pilots that have been greenlighted by the network.

According to Deadline, “The Craftsman” will feature craftsman and woodworker Eric Hollenbeck. The show will have nine episodes and will run in half-hour periods. Viewers can watch as Hollenbeck restores historic homes in his hometown of Eureka, California.

“The Art of Vintage” will star vintage dealer and designer Katie Saro. She will create spaces for her clients using interesting styling and design choices. In the meantime, she is also transforming her own home and taking people along for that ride. Some of the other shows on Magnolia Network include “Fixer Upper: Welcome Home,” “Inn the Works,” “Van Go,” “Homegrown,” “Restoration Road with Clint Harp,” and “Family Dinner.”

If you want to get even closer to the world of Joanna Gaines, fans can now rent out a home that’s been renovated by her and Chip. Travel and Leisure report that a new Gaines’ house called Hillcrest Cottage is available to rent out. It’s located in Magnolia’s Hillcrest Estate property in Waco, Texas.

“Enjoy a quiet getaway in this charming cottage renovated, designed, and owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines. Originally the carriage house for Hillcrest Estate, this home includes one bedroom, one bath, an office nook, and a private back patio. This makes it the perfect getaway for a party of two, or if you’re stopping through town and need a restful place to retreat,” the Airbnb listing says.
