Herbert White Jr. was Vanna’s stepfather. He raised her when Joan, Vanna’s mother, and her biological father, Miguel Angel Rosich, divorced when she was a baby.

“It is with great sadness that I tell you my 96 year old dad passed away peacefully this morning,” Vanna White writes about her father’s death. “He lived a full and happy life and will be remembered as one of the kindest and most wonderful human beings of North Myrtle Beach. I love you so much dad. RIP. #love #bestdadever”.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers”. Maggie Sajak, Pat Sajak’s daughter, wrote on White’s Instagram post: “I am so very sorry for your loss. My whole family is thinking of you.”

Another Instagram follower writes: “I am so sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it is to lose a parent. May the universe surround you with comfort and strength during this difficult time”. White Celebrated Father’s Day Last Year With Picture

White has not shared a lot of pictures of her late father in the past. But she did say something about him on Father’s Day. “Happy Father’s Day my amazing 95 year old dad and to ALL the dads celebrating today!” Vanna wrote about him at the time.

Her fans loved that Father’s Day message. One wrote on Twitter: “Happy Father’s Day to him. You are very blessed to still have him in your life to celebrate this day. Enjoy every minute. My dad has been in Heaven half of my life.” This fan wrote: “Bless his heart, indeed! Enjoy and cherish as much time as you can with your parents.” Here’s more from Pop Culture.
