“1883” star LaMonica Garrett celebrated the release of Episode 4 this weekend with an awesome on-set pic featuring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
Fans have waited two weeks for this new episode after Paramount decided not to run Episode 4 last weekend. The streaming service didn’t say why they didn’t drop a new episode. But it likely had to do with post-production necessities or an increased focus on the network’s “Yellowstone” season finale.
Now, Garrett is ready to promote the latest “1883” episode with a behind-the-scenes pic from Fort Worth, Texas. In the pic, we see Garrett and McGraw rocking cowboy hats and traditional Western wear. Hill, on the other hand, seems to have lost her overdress. She’s wearing the equivalent of a slip or almost-undergarments for the time period.
“New episode of @1883official just dropped on @paramountplus,” Garrett captioned the post. He said the title of the new episode is “The Crossing.”
The “crossing” in question likely refers to a river. If “1883” fans will remember, during the last episode, the characters argued about the best place to cross a huge river in Texas on their way north. Shea Brennan, played by the incredible Sam Elliott, argued for going east. Even though that would put them weeks behind schedule and force them to travel in winter.
Tim McGraw’s character James Dutton, on the other hand, argued for going west. It follows more of the direction they want to go and will streamline the trip. Brennan argues that they’ll run into more bandits that way. But at the end of the day, he agrees with James to go west.
