Have you been trying to see what the set for “1883” looks like right now? Well, Outsiders are in luck as we have some pictures.
A catering company on Friday shared some photos from its time out there in Tombstone, Ariz. The Taylor Sheridon-created “Yellowstone” prequel needed an Old West view to its scenes.
So they turned an area of Granbury, Texas, into an Old West town circa “1883.” When you look at the photos, then you’ll be amazed by what the crew did. Granbury is located near Fort Worth, Texas.
As we mentioned, Big D Party Rentals of Carrollton, Texas, shared some photos it took on-site. The company handled food and drinks for the crew and stars.
Take a look at these photos that the company posted on its Instagram account. You will have to go to the post’s third picture to see people watching “1883” episodes being filmed. That’s followed by a few pictures of the actual set without actors, crew, or curious bystanders. In fact, Outsiders can get a peek at actor Sam Elliott within this series of photos.
Pretty cool, huh? We thought so, too.
Elliott plays a guide that helps James and Margaret Dutton, played by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill – yes, the country music superstars – to go West. His character helps the Duttons move through the Great Plains as they joined many other people en route to the Western region.
“Yellowstone” fans can expect the same quality and attention given to that show when “1883” debuts this fall. Actually, it’s more like late December when you can watch the debut. Lock in Sunday, Dec. 19, on your TV viewing schedule. That’s when “1883” will pop up on Paramount+.
‘1883’ Got Taylor Sherdian Treatment With Production Team
Yes, “1883” will have its own unique look and style. But Sheridan brought the main show’s production team to the prequel.
He went out and brought a team over to make sure “1883” looked solid and good. Deadline reported that production designer Cary White, set decorator Carla Curry, and art director Yvonne Boudreau are part of the “1883” team.
All three helped “Yellowstone” pick up its first Emmy nomination. It was for “Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program” at the 73rd Emmy Awards. This crew brings its abilities to get “1883” off on the right foot.
When you, Outsiders, tune in to watch this series, then you’ll know that Sheridan didn’t waste time on its cast and crew. Elliott, McGraw, and Hill are big names across the entertainment world. It will be interesting to see the type of response “1883” gets from viewers.
