James Jordan, an actor with a recurring role on the television series “Yellowstone,” is celebrating his 42nd birthday today.
Jordan is in the Western-themed Paramount Network series created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. It stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, and Luke Grimes. It focuses on a family that owns a large cattle ranch that borders a Native reservation as well as the Yellowstone National Park.
On the show, James Jordan plays Steve Hendon. He is a livestock agent that worked with the Dutton family. While “Yellowstone” is his most recent appearance in the acting world, it certainly isn’t his only one.
James Jordan Most Recent Role
Jordan’s most recent project is “Those Who Wish Me Dead.” This movie is filmed and set to release on May 14, 2021.
It stars Nicholas Hoult, Angelina Jolie, Jon Bernthal, Tyler Perry, as well as Jordan. Taylor Sheridan also directs this mystery thriller. Similar to “Yellowstone,” the movie takes place in Montana and has some Western themes of violence and wilderness.
The story is about a teenager who witnesses a murder. Shortly thereafter, he is pursued by two assassins as he tries to escape through the Montana wilderness. Alongside him is a survival expert trying to keep him alive from the threat of the murderers and a looming forest fire.
“Yellowstone” is a widely popular network television show, with an audience growing seemingly more by the minute. In fact, it recently was announced a prequel series called “Y:1883.” The Duttons are also appearing in another spinoff called “6666.” Fans are also still anticipating the release of season 4 of “Yellowstone.”
Other Influential Roles
Another major series James Jordan worked on was “Veronica Mars.” This TV series starred Kristen Bell trying to uncover mysteries in a small town. It is directly following the death of her best friend. The television series was widely popular and had a cult following.
James Jordan played Tim Foyle for 10 episodes.
In addition, Jordan has been in other roles like “Home,” “Seberg,” “Destroyer,” and “The Endless.”
James Jordan had worked with members of the “Yellowstone” cast before the start of the series. Several cast members like Kelsey Asbille, Gil Birmingham, Hugh Dillon, Martin Sensmeier, Tokala Black Elk, Gabe Casdorph, Ian Bohen, and Mason D. Davis also appeared in “Wind River.”
“Wind River” was also written and directed by Taylor Sheridan. It is a neo-Western murder-mystery from 2017. It seems like Taylor Sheridan and James Jordan have a pretty close working relationship. He tends to gravitate toward the Western-themed drama genre.
