Now that “Yellowstone” has wrapped up its fourth season, it’s time to explore options for streaming the latest season of the hit show. Many fans were surprised to see that it wasn’t on Paramount Plus, both during and after the airing of Season 4. That’s because ViacomCBS made a deal with Peacock to stream “Yellowstone” exclusively. So, you won’t find it on Paramount Plus anytime soon.
However, in the next few months, fans should be able to watch the new season on Peacock. Last year, before Season 4 premiere dropped, Peacock notified fans that they could watch the new season sometime in 2022 as soon as it wrapped up.
Per our calculations, we’re expecting to see “Yellowstone” Season 4 on Peacock in March 2022. So, if you’re willing to wait that long, you can definitely watch the Western on Peacock in a few months.
In terms of other options, Amazon Prime is your best bet for watching immediately. Even during the season, fans without cable used Amazon Prime to keep up to date week by week. While the episode didn’t drop exactly at the same time as they aired on Paramount Network’s cable channel, they did premiere on Amazon within 12 hours. You can still buy the full season today for just $20.
Other streaming options include Philo, Sling, and FuboTV. These platforms mimic cable and provide you with similar opportunities to watch certain shows On Demand.
And if you have cable and kept up with “Yellowstone” all season long, keep an eye out for reruns. This week they’ve already run a Season 4 marathon for fans who just couldn’t wait to watch it again.
What Do We Know About ‘Yellowstone’ Season 5?
At this time, Paramount and ViacomCBS haven’t officially renewed “Yellowstone” for the fifth season. But the cast has essentially confirmed it, and considering its whopping success this season, we’re pretty sure the network will renew it any day now.
Cole Hauser, who plays fan-favorite Rip Wheeler on the show, reassured fans earlier this week with a cheeky post on Instagram. “See y’all in S5! Thank you again for being the best fans and the continued support of @yellowstone and making us #1 in all the land,” Hauser captioned the post.
Rob Kirkland, who plays Interim Sheriff Bill Ramsey on “Yellowstone,” said something similar earlier this season. The show’s official Twitter account gave him a shoutout when his character first appeared on Episode 9.
Kirkland replied to the shoutout, “Thx #YellowstoneTV fam! Honored to pick up the mantle from the great @realhughdillon! We’ve got BIG plans for #SherrifBillRamsey next season!”
Big plans can only mean that a script and production schedule is clearly underway for the hit Western show. If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll even catch the new season later this year.
