After Season 3’s cliffhanger finale episode, Yellowstone fans are searching for any clue as to what happened to three members of the Dutton family. The Paramount Network series might be dropping a clue in a recent Instagram post.
Over the weekend, the official Instagram page for the show shared a snap of Jamie Button, portrayed by Wes Bentley. In the snap, Jamie sits atop a horse while shooting a smirking grin at the camera. Most notably, the dark rainclouds above Jamie give the photo an eerily unsettling tone.

As audiences will remember, Season 3 came to a conclusion with the lives of John Dutton (Kevin Costner), Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), and Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) all hanging in the balance.
Shortly after posting the photo, thousands of Yellowstone fans weighed in wondering if the Jamie Dutton photo is offering a hint at what led to three Dutton family members’ potential deaths.
“I really hope he didn’t do them wrong,” one Instagram user writes. “A storm is a brewing can you feel it in the air 🐎,” another commented.
Several offered their own theories on the Season 3 Yellowstone finale.
“My take: It’s a dream John is having! I may be wrong. But, I remember a convo he had with Tate. JMO,” one user writes.
Another user feels that the Jamie Dutton photo further confirms their suspicions about his character.
“The enemy from within is always more formidable…. they know the opponent’s weaknesses and secrets. I think Jamie will do more damage than any corporation could. Even if John Dutton wins he will be weakened and the Native Americans will use that and might end up getting their land back,” the user commented.
