“Yellowstone” fans may know him as ex-con Walker on the show. But Ryan Bingham also has an excellent singing voice. He recently channeled his inner Bob Dylan with a cover of “Walking Down the Line.”
Multi-talented as ever, Bingham sang, played the guitar, and the harmonica all at the same time. While no one could replace Dylan’s voice, Bingham made up for it with raw talent alone. This wasn’t the first time Bingham covered Dylan. When he’s not busy on set, the actor/singer uses Instagram to share covers of some of his favorite songs.
For instance, Bingham recently used Instagram to sing a tribute to his idols Jerry Jeff Walker and Billy Joe Shaver. Both passed away separately in October and were icons of outlaw country.

Outside of “Yellowstone,” Bingham is an accomplished musician and songwriter. Bingham most recently released his sixth studio album American Love Song, which charted No. 4 on Billboard’s Folk chart. He’s busy working on his next project in addition to filming the TV series.
His music is actually what helped land him on the show after “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan approached him about writing a song for the show.
“I originally met Taylor a few years back when he wrote and directed a film called ‘Wind River.’ He contacted me about writing a song for the film,” Bingham told PopCulture. “I never seemed to come up with anything for the movies at that time that fit, but we always kept in touch and remained friends. And when this show started up, he contacted me again about possibly writing some songs and using some of the songs that I already had. And after hanging out for a while, he learned that I had a history with rodeo and the cowboy thing. And so he said, ‘Heck, I got to write you into this show.’ And so that’s how that all started.”
