Nicole Sheridan is sharing something surprising: a photo of herself riding a horse at a cutting horse competition last week.
Sheridan Is the Winner
“Thank you, @careity_foundation and all who came out and supported us near and far,” Sheridan posted Monday. “We are in this together to help save lives of cancer patients!!! 💗❤️ @mobringsplenty love you brother, we kicked some ass teammate!🤘🏼@jessicapounds @korypounds thanks for all your help making my dream come true… I won my first buckle.😭@thejenlandon so grateful and thankful for you, you are a rockstar and to all our Yellowstone family who contributed, it means the world to us!!!”
Helping Cancer Patients
The Careity Foundation is a Fort Worth-based 501(c)(3) that helps economically struggling cancer patients through all the stages of the treatment process.
“Cowboys and cowgirls are darn tough, but they’re tougher when they get together to fight cancer,” Careity co-founder Beverly Branch told CBS DFW this month.
This year’s event was the 26th annual celebrity cutting horse competition, according to the Weatherford Democrat. Last year’s competition also included Taylor Sheridan himself, Cole Hauser, Mo Brings Plenty and Jefferson White from “Yellowstone.”
This year, the competition took place once again at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth.
“Man, it’s just an incredible experience,” Nicole Sheridan said after the event. “I’m so happy and proud to be part of this event so dear to my heart and many others. What a night. I just, it’s like, I can’t even—this is like the best night of my life, by the way.”
“I still can’t believe it, this is my first buckle I ever won,” she added. Moreover, “I am like on cloud nine right now.”
