Anticipation is at a fever-pitch for Yellowstone Season 4, and fans will be able to experience all episodes leading to the premiere this week courtesy of Paramount Network!
“It’s premiere week on @ParamountNet! Catch up on #YellowstoneTV from the very beginning, starting tonight at 8pm ET. And then don’t miss the Season 4 two-hour premiere event on Sunday,” the show announced Monday across their official social media accounts.
As part of their announcement, Yellowstone offers up a new trailer made up of footage from previous seasons. Season 3 is featured most prominently as the Duttons’ world comes crashing down around them – and it’ll get any die-hard fan’s blood pumping for Sunday, November 7:
“I’m not going to sleep until Sunday! Too excited to do anything but have heavenly thoughts of Yellowstone! #Yellowstonerforlife, bring on Sunday!!!!!” tweets fan Cathy S. in reply.
Her sentiments are echoed across social media as we cross the final few days leading up to Season 4’s premiere. Over on Instagram, fan Mark Stevens comments “One of the few times I’m happy this year has flown by…. Can’t wait for season 4.”
And we’d be remiss if we didn’t include ‘Mrs. L.R. Flowers’ response; a poignant “I’ve missed my baby daddy John Dutton!”
“I’ve already watched from the beginning for the 3rd time. Can’t wait!” adds Stephanie K.
The announcement is sure to lead to disappointment for some Yellowstone fans, however. Why?
‘Yellowstone’ Marathon Only on Cable – Not Peacock or Paramount+
Yep, you read that headline correctly. Due to Paramount’s existing syndication contract, the full-episode marathon this week will not be streaming on Paramount+ or Peacock.
In fact, the only way to watch it is with a good ol’ fashioned cable subscription that includes Paramount Network. Talk about old-school.
Peacock (NBC’s streaming service which holds rights to streaming Season 3) is responding to fans on Twitter to help clarify, too:
“Hi! Thank you for reaching out. While the episodes will not be available on Peacock until the conclusion of the current season, we look forward to the new season being available next year. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!”
In short, if you’ve subscribed to Peacock in hopes of seeing Yellowstone Season 4, you won’t be able to until some time in 2022. The only way to watch Season 4 will be either on Paramount+ streaming service, or with that ol’ fashioned cable plan featuring Paramount Network.
It’s a frustrating mess, to be sure. And it’s made even more convoluted by the ability to purchase-to-stream previous Yellowstone episodes on Amazon Prime.
So don’t forget, Yellowstone fans: Season 4 will only be available on Paramount Network and Paramount+ starting with the two-episode premiere Sunday, November 7.
