One of the core beliefs here at Outsider is that you can never have too much of Yellowstone star and Hollywood icon Kevin Costner.

As Yellowstone’s leading man, John Dutton, Costner is in his element as the aging cowboy and ranch owner. He rules his Montana cattle ranch with an iron fist, yet is still kind and generous to his workers. Dutton shows he is willing to go to great lengths to protect and keep what is rightfully his. He isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and eliminate his enemies — sometimes for good. As he has with several other big roles, Costner plays Dutton to near perfection. It is yet another reason to love Costner’s work and applaud his entire acting career.

Yellowstone’s home station, the Paramount Network, agrees with the sentiment that you can’t have enough of Kevin Costner. While we all wait for the fourth season of Yellowstone to hit, Paramount is hoping to tide us over. The network will be airing a Kevin Costner-theme double feature tonight (Tuesday) featuring two of Costner’s most well-known sports movies. The movies airing tonight are “Draft Day” and Field of Dreams. Paramount Network officials took to social media on Tuesday to alert Costner fans of the movie event.

“Need more Kevin Costner in your life?” the social media post asks fans. “The only correct answer is YES. Catch the Kevin Costner double feature TONIGHT on Paramount Network, starting at 7 p.m. ET”

‘Yellowstone’ Fans Chime in on Kevin Costner Movie Night

Social media users could not hide their excitement over getting back-to-back Kevin Costner flicks. Yellowstone actor Brecken Merrill, who plays John’s grandson, Tate Dutton also gave his on-screen grandfather a shout-out. Some fans also took the opportunity to request an update on the fourth season premiere of Yellowstone.

“The answer should have included the series 4 premiere date!” an Instagram user writes. “Please tell me if I watch the double feature one of the commercials will tell me when Yellowstone is coming back!”

It is very fitting that Draft Day is one of the movies playing tonight with the actual NFL Draft set to begin on Thursday. In the movie, Costner plays the General Manager of an NFL team that is under scrutiny to make the correct choice.

It isn’t Yellowstone, but at least fans of the show will be able to get their Kevin Costner fix this evening.
