All week, “Yellowstone” fans have been asking the same question: Where can we watch the show if we don’t have a cable subscription?
As of right now, the show’s mainly advertised the new Season 4 on the Paramount Network cable channel. But what about all the people who caught up on the first three seasons of the show by watching it on Peacock? Or Amazon?
Amazon Prime might just be the answer to cable cutters’ prayers. One “Yellowstone” fan on Reddit just discovered that Prime members can purchase all of Season 4 for just $19.99 in the U.S.
The Reddit user explained that “purchasing season 4 now does not mean you can watch it now. Episodes 1 and 2 will be available there at 8 pm EST on November 7, and then further episodes weekly after that.” So, it sounds like you won’t have to wait until the next day to watch.
You can check out the Amazon Prime page they’re talking about here. Next to the tab for buying ‘”Yellowstone” Season 4 at $19.99, it explains that this is a TV Season Pass.
On their Help page, Amazon describes the TV Season Pass as a way to “buy the entire season of a current and soon to be airing TV shows upfront. Any episodes of the show that have already been broadcast are immediately available to watch from Your Video Library. As new episodes air, they will automatically be made available in Your Video Library, usually within 24 hours of broadcast.”
This seems like the most straightforward solution for “Yellowstone” fans looking to watch the show without cable. If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can also look into other streaming services that offer Live TV options. Hulu Live TV, fuboTV, and others offer cable channels like Paramount that you can record or watch live episodes on. They cost about $65 a month.
Peacock Explains They Won’t Have ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 Until Next Year
Earlier this week, one fan commented on a post by the official “Yellowstone” Twitter account. They tagged both Paramount Plus and Peacock in the comment, asking if either of them would carry Season 4 next week.
A verified Twitter account called PeacockTVCare replied, “Hi! Thank you for reaching out. While the episodes will not be available on Peacock until the conclusion of the current season, we look forward to the new season being available next year. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!”
Peacock currently carries Seasons 1-3 of “Yellowstone.” Now, it looks like they’ll carry Season 4 too, but only after this current season wraps. And it looks like that won’t happen until January 2022. So any “Yellowstone” fans not wanting to watch on Amazon Prime better sit tight.
