The fourth season of “Yellowstone” is now in the rearview mirror and fans of the hit series have plenty to say about it.

The ever-popular Paramount Network show has a record season in terms of viewers tuning in each week. “Yellowstone” has an enormous fan base that is seemingly growing by the day as more discover the modern western drama. The fourth season ha drawn mostly positive reviews from fans and critics, who say the show is an excellent representation of cowboy culture. Some fans, however, have questions, concerns and critiques about the fourth “Yellowstone” season. Fans took to Reddit to voice their thoughts on the highly successful latest season of the show.

“Too many people seem to be complaining about season four,” a Redditor says. “It had flaws and many of us can’t agree what they were, but there was also a lot of fantastic stuff. Personally I think the season had a number of improvements over season three and was great. Increased screen time for Kevin Costner makes for a stronger show. So Beth and Rip suck as parental guardians. Is anyone supposed to be surprised by this?”

The “Yellowstone” fan continues, sharing what they perceive as season four flaws.

“The only thing I didnt like was Beth has just gone off the rails as far as im concerned,” the Reddit user continues. “The woman is so wrapped up in blood rage all the time, and so filled with hatred, you actually could believe she would throw away her life just to kill her step-brother.”

Beth Dutton is certainly no stranger to going off the rails, but that is why many “Yellowstone” fans love her. Other viewers say Beth’s season four storyline was spot on for her character, right down to that crazy wedding.

‘Yellowstone’ Fans Discuss Season Four Ups and Downs

The Reddit thread is filled with feedback from “Yellowstone” fans discussing their favorite and least favorite moments.

“My biggest criticism of the season would be more Kayce, less Beth,” another Redditor says. “That and Jimmy driving 1300 miles with spurs on.”

Another fan says they enjoyed the theme of horses in season four. Indeed, horses were very present in this season with many beautiful stallions getting screen time.

“I have been an equestrian since I was 8 years old, so from my perspective, the main thing I love about this season is the horses,” another “Yellowstone” fan chimes. “Taylor Sheridan dedicated many episodes with long scenes with beautiful horses and showing the skill of cutting. It may look easy, but that kind of training is extremely difficult.”

One thing every “Yellowstone” fan can agree on is that we can’t wait for the show’s fifth season. We don’t know when that will be yet, but you can bet fans will be ready.
