Video: ‘Yellowstone’ Fans Will Love This Tour of Kevin Costner’s Colorado Compound

Yellowstone star Kevin Costner is all about the outdoors, and it shows. One very lucky visitor from CNBC had a chance to visit Costner’s 160-acre estate in Aspen, Colorado. She hopped a plane to check it out.

The trip revealed one of the coolest treats for any Costner fan, let alone those who follow Yellowstone. It includes a massive valley of golden birch trees, pine trees, and the Roaring Fork river. There are even three lodges that can sleep 34.

Features of Kevin Costner’s Incredible Compound

All across the compound, small touches remind visitors of Costner’s influences. There’s a mountain lion mounted in the master bedroom. There’s even a trap door at the foot of the bed. At the end, there’s a hot tub with its own custom waterfall. Blink and you’ll miss it.

For Field of Dreams fans, there’s a custom baseball field, a gorgeous set of grounds with ponds teeming with trophy troupe, and more. It appears that every inch of the Colorado destination is opulent in a special way. You never quite know what you’re going to see next.

Costner proved his “flair for the dramatic” throughout the home with fun destinations, plenty of space, and an atmosphere like “staying with grandma.” He’s inspired by the outdoors and even the movies he’s made. He’s particularly smitten with the baseball movie he’s made throughout his career.

Should anyone have a chance to visit what Kevin Costner has put together over the years, it’s an impressive stay. Just imagine listening to Costner’s music and exploring the grounds. If you want to end up touring, it will cost a pretty penny. For the right fan, however, it could all be worth it.

Who knows? You could even watch Yellowstone to your heart’s content during your stay. Chalk this trip up for a destination for superfans.
