The fourth season will start airing in June 2021. All filming was done in Montana due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Showrunner Taylor Sheridan spoke to Deadline about how filming took place amid the coronavirus.
âSo weâve got the crew and the cast up there, and itâs in an area of the state that has no active cases now,â he told the outlet in July. âAs long as weâre very careful to not bring any inâŚso once weâre there, weâll be very cautious about how we move. The best thing we can do for the community is [to] limit our interaction with them, really, for now. And everyone will just stay there for the duration.
