There have been a lot of interactions between Beth and John Dutton in Yellowstone this season. Has it changed their dynamic forever?

Let’s take a look, Outsiders. Kelly Reilly plays Beth Dutton, who is the daughter of John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner. This Season 4 has seen Beth strike out at John, sometimes over his friendship with Summer Higgins, played by Piper Picabo.

In fact, she got so ticked off at Dad that she threw a coffee cup at him. Beth also has been strung out on Yellowstone after being involved in an explosion at her office as Season 3 ended.

Toss in her stress over watching John follow his own medical guidance. She went to see her father at a local hospital, which Rip Wheeler, her lover, played by Cole Hauser, sent him there on Yellowstone.

‘Yellowstone’ Sets Up Beth As Protector For John, Only To Have It Fall Apart

Beth has been doing her best to protect John. It has been an ongoing situation from Season 4, Episode 1.

But the way that she has been doing it is just fracturing her relationship with John.

At the end of Episode 9, the Beth-John tension just hits a powerbomb on Yellowstone. John tells Beth that it might be a good idea if she leaves the Yellowstone Ranch while he takes care of things.

He’s still trying to find out who triggered the attacks on his family and workers.

Well, this sends Beth reeling. So much so that she goes to the bunkhouse. She walks in while Rip is watching and supporting Carter, played by Finn Little. The kid is taking money away from those ranch hands in a mean game of cards.

Beth, Walker Have Quite A Scene That Ends Up Having Rip Look On From Afar

But Beth is beside herself. Walker, played by Ryan Bingham, looks up and sees her at the bunkhouse door.

He goes over and comes back to get his guitar. They go out to the barn area and sit down. She asks him to play her a sad song. He does this, but we get a chance to see Rip look toward both of them as the episode nearly ends.

Oh boy, we do not know how this will end up on Yellowstone this coming Sunday night. It is the Season 4 finale and there are a lot of things to settle. Will the Beth-John relationship have some healing or not?

Yellowstone has been turning up the heat about stories involving John, Rip, Beth, Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes, and many others. So, what will happen? All of us will just have to tune in and see. There may be more tension between Beth and John before this season ends soon.
