A brand new season of “Yellowstone” will soon be upon us and that means we’ll see several new faces on the Dutton Ranch.

One of those new faces we are excited to see is veteran actress Jacki Weaver who will be making her “Yellowstone” debut in season four. Weaver, who’s had a long and wonderful career as an actor, will be playing the role of Caroline Warner. We only have small bits of information to piece together when it comes to Caroline Warner. We know she is the CEO of Market Equities, a firm that desperately wants the property that the “Yellowstone” ranch occupies. We also know she is the heaviest of heavy hitters and she will be a force that the Duttons will have to reckon with. From season four trailers we can deduce that Warner is being brought in to “seal the deal” with the Duttons. She will reportedly stop at nothing to get what she wants — and what she wants is the Dutton Ranch.

Weaver recently spoke to TV Insider about her Caroline Warner character and what fans can expect from her. It is safe to say that Warner is not heading to “Yellowstone” to make friends.

“She’s a city slicker walking through fields of cowpats in designer heels and classy tailored suits,” Weaver says. “She looks out of place, but she’s terrifying. She takes no prisoners, treats everyone badly–and is going to add another dimension to the huge cataclysmic drama that is the Duttons.”

Just what the Duttons need — another enemy to contend with as they fight for the land they rightfully own. There are several different entities that believe they can walk right in and take the ranch. John Dutton and his team of capable cowboys say otherwise.

‘Yellowstone’ Newcomer Jacki Weaver Talks About Her Character

The Market Equities group has already made a play to buy “Yellowstone” Ranch and been rebuffed. Representative Roarke Morris says his firm is willing to pay $500 million for the land. But, to John Dutton, the ranch is priceless. The ranch has been in his family for ages and he intends to keep it that way. We will see what strategies Caroline Warner has up her sleeve.

“Caroline wouldn’t be surprised to have her life threatened,” Weaver says. “But she’s fearless and takes that in stride.”

Don’t expect Jacki Weaver to get the “cowboy school” treatment that other actors on “Yellowstone” got. She says that while she used to do stunts, riding on the back of a horse is not on her agenda.

“I used to love doing stunts, but you don’t see me on a horse!” she says.

We will learn more about Caroline Warner and other new characters when “Yellowstone” returns. We are just a few days away from the Sunday, Nov. 7 premiere of season four.
