“Yellowstone” star Kevin Costner is ready to see Season 4 start the Paramount Network on Nov. 7. He replied with one word to the news.
Costner, who plays rancher John Dutton, shared within his Instagram Stories section the word “Bliss” with the official release post. “Yellowstone” used its own Instagram account to reveal the news to the world.
Dutton oversees the Yellowstone/Dutton Ranch and he fights off a lot of challenges to the ranch land. “Yellowstone” has built up quite a following through its first three seasons. The series will air two episodes on that Sunday night in November.
Costner, who has been on board with the Paramount Network show since the beginning, recently showed up at the “Field of Dreams” in Iowa. Major League Baseball had the Chicago White Sox play the New York Yankees with the White Sox winning on a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning.
‘Yellowstone’ Lead Star Welcomed Faith Hill, Tim McGraw To Prequel
By the way, Costner also keeps tabs on other shows in the “Yellowstone” world. That includes the prequel “1883” which will premiere on Dec. 19 on Paramount+. Country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are going to be part of the show along with veteran actor Sam Elliott, who plays Shea Brennan.
The John Dutton actor said, “Welcome to the Ranch” within Hill’s Instagram post where she let the world know about her and McGraw’s involvement.
In her Instagram post, she wrote, “Finally the day has come when I get to share some exciting news with you!”
“I will be playing Margaret Dutton, the original matriarch of the Dutton family in the Yellowstone prequel 1883,” Hill wrote. Just wait, you have never seen anything like this!”
McGraw also posted this note on his Instagram account, too.
“So excited I can finally share this,” McGraw wrote. “I’m joining the Dutton family in the ‘Yellowstone’ prequel, ‘1883,’ coming to Paramount Plus! And my incredible wife, Faith Hill, will be playing Margaret Dutton!”
MTV Executive Shared His Thoughts On Show’s Return This Season
Meanwhile, one executive behind “Yellowstone” shared his own thoughts about the upcoming season.
“Our strategy is to make ‘Yellowstone’ the massive #1 hit, with more than 10 million fans, into a global hit franchise under the incredible creative vision of Taylor Sheridan’s world-building storytelling,” MTV Entertainment President and CEO Chris McCarthy said.
McCarthy spoke to Deadline also about “1883” and “Mayor of Kingstown” that will be on Paramount+.
“These new series will debut on Paramount+ and have special premiere day sneak episodes behind ‘Yellowstone,'” McCarthy said. “Introducing this huge audience to these new stories, allowing us to leverage our linear platforms to fuel the growth of Paramount+ which will stream each series exclusively after episode two.”
