“Talk about a cliffhanger,” indeed. With a new image of his John Dutton, the Yellowstone icon is gearing up for the Season 4 premiere’s big reveals.
Kevin Costner is a master at teasing Yellowstone without ever giving anything away. Like John Dutton, his social media persona is a man of few words. And also like the patriarch, the few he utters always count.
“Talk about a cliffhanger,” Costner captions the new still on his official Instagram. The screenshot comes straight from the scene we’ve witnessed in the main Season 4 trailer, which follows up directly from the very “cliffhanger” ending to Season 3 the actor references.
“What do you think happens next?” Costner then asks, echoing the question on everyone’s minds ahead of November 7. And just as he reminds us Yellowstone fans, don’t forget we “Find out SUNDAY at 8/7c on Paramount Network.”
Everyone from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan’s wife, Nicole, to Teeter actor Jen Landon weigh in with their own emoji reactions on Costner’s Instagram post above. Even the show itself can’t put their reaction into words, matching Landon’s heart-eyes emoji with three shocked emojis. Nicole Sheridan, however, brings the fire with a handful of flame emojis.
But it’s fan Brandi that says what we’re all feeling with: “I have never been so excited for a new season of a television program ever in my life!!!”
Preach it, sister. And with only 3 days to go, the excitement is beyond palpable.
‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 Premiere Promises to ‘Shock’ Fans
Come this Sunday, November 7, Yellowstone rules the world once more. We’re being treated to a two-episode premiere to kick things off for on of the most hotly-anticipated television events in recent memory.
Ahead of the premiere, we’ve learned the episode titles for Season 4, as well. And needless to say, even these simple headers don’t make things sound too promising for John Dutton.
‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 Titles:
- “Half the Money”
- “Phantom Pain”
- “All I See is You”
- “Winning or Learning”
- “Under a Blanket of Red”
- “I Want to Be Him”
- “Keep the Wolves Close”
- “No Kindness for the Coward”
- “No Such Thing as Fair”
- “Grass on the Streets and Weeds on the Rooftops”
Episode titles come courtesy of the Writers Guild of America West.
While several writers have worked on the show, main writing credit all goes to series creator and mastermind Taylor Sheridan for Season 4. Sheridan seems to be playing the show’s return close to the chest after such an absence from audiences. And if his past storytelling is to go by, then we’re in for something absolutely phenomenal as a result.
