He might be the youngest star on the hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone,” but Brecken Merrill knows his way around a set quite well.
The “Yellowstone” star is fond of interacting with the show’s fan base through the use of social media. He often shares scenes from the set of the popular show, showcasing fans’ favorite characters. Merrill also likes to share the occasional behind-the-scenes photo with his fans and social media followers. He did exactly that earlier today (Sunday), sharing a few pics and a video from a third season “Yellowstone” sequence.
The video and the photos show Merrill with Kevin Coster (John Dutton) as they discuss life and Tate’s slingshot. It is always interesting to see what a scene looks like before it is a finished product. That’s what Brecken provides to “Yellowstone” fans who are eager for a new season of their favorite show.
“Today’s behind the scenes shots are from the key art photoshoot for season 3,” the “Yellowstone star says. “Kevin and I were up on a platform looking down into the camera.”
Merril says the cluster of photos shows what a scene or photoshoot on “Yellowstone” looks like before the effects. He calls the final outcome “dramatic Masterpiece” to be enjoyed by the show’s fans.
“You can see what it looks like before the pros work their magic and turn the pics into dramatic masterpieces,” he says.
‘Yellowstone’ Star Reveals Finished Product
Merrill was done with social media just, using another post to reveal what the final product from the shoot looks like. It is easy to see the magic of television by looking at both images and comparing.
“The final product,” he says.
The finished product is a badass photo of John and Tate Dutton that fans are going crazy over. The intense looks from Merrill and Costner make this promotional image a really nice piece. Tate looks like he could really cause some damage with that slingshot.
At only 13 years of age, Brecken Merrill plays the young cowboy in training, Tate Dutton, on “Yellowstone.” Tate is the son of Kayce and Monica Dutton and the only grandchild of family patriarch John Dutton. Tate spends most of his days hanging out with the ranch’s team of capable cowboys. Like most youngsters, curiosity sometimes gets the best of Tate. He’s been through the wringer through three seasons, doing battle with a rattlesnake and being kidnapped by a militia.
“Yellowstone” fans are curious to see what the future holds in store for Tate. With the attack on his family to close out the third season, it is likely to have a big impact on the youngest of the Duttons.
“Yellowstone” will return to our lives on November 7.
