The highly-anticipated fourth season of “Yellowstone” is off and running and fans of the show couldn’t be happier.
New storylines are developing for key “Yellowstone” characters that feel as if the show is breaking new ground. One of these new storylines is the beautiful relationship possessed by Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton. It’s the closest thing that “Yellowstone” has to a love story as the two popular characters are practically made for each other.
A lot of the credit for making this storyline successful goes to the actors portraying these personalities. Veteran actor Cole Hauser makes Rip the rough and tough cowboy that he is. But we are now seeing Hauser give Rip a sensitive and caring side that we’ve rarely seen. Kelly Reilly gives Beth Dutton the layers and depth that we have all come to know and love. Both Rip and Beth are favorites of practically every “Yellowstone” fan and we have Cole and Kelly to thank for it.
Despite not working together before “Yellowstone,” the two actors have incredible chemistry together. The scenes featuring tender moments between Beth and Rip are some of the best on the show. On Wednesday, Hauser took to social media to express his appreciation for his co-star. Hauser says he treasures working with Kelly Reilly and gives fans watching the show a big thank you.
“I enjoy so much working with this wonderful creative being Kelly Reilly,” he says in the Instagram post. “Hope y’all are enjoying season four.”
In a testament to just how popular “Yellowstone” is around the world, Hauser’s Wednesday morning post took in more than 25,000 “Likes” in under an hour.
‘Yellowstone’ Couple Facing New Challenges in Season Four
Through three episodes of “Yellowstone” season four, it’s been a bumpy ride for Rip and Beth. After surviving an exploding bomb inside her office, Beth is heavily scarred. Rip’s treasured cabin was burned to the ground in the opening sequence of the first episode.
But that is practically nothing compared to their newest challenge — parenting.
The couple has taken the recently orphaned Carter into their home and it’s not exactly been a smooth ride. Unable to bear children of her own, Beth’s maternal instincts seemed to kick in upon meeting Carter. It is an unusual family that they have put together but they seem intent on making it work. Carter isn’t going to make it easy on them though, as he’s poorly disciplined and seems determined to push his limits. Much like breaking a horse, Rip will have to work with Carter to instill a work ethic inside of him.
We can’t wait to see how this story unfolds as we continue through season four of “Yellowstone.”
